Welcome to A Centenary of Dreams! We are an intermediate/advanced role play forum with a focus on both the Titanic and the Edwardian era. However, you are not limited to the 1910s – in fact, we encourage you to play your characters at any point throughout their lives. We are looking for canons, originals, and there are plenty of character requests up that need filling!
There are currently no character bans up! Males, females and all social classes are welcome!
Our site is aimed towards a more mature audience; an audience that is comfortable with all aspects of life. This includes, but is not limited to: sexual content and innuendos, violence, strong language, death and difficult situations. While we do require that all ‘mature’ threads are marked as such, we cannot guarantee you will not stumble upon such content.
Welcome to our site, we’re glad you’ve found us, and if you have any questions or concerns say hello in the cbox! We’re looking forward to writing with you!
Awards to be announced! Check back soon!

North America Relatively “new”, by comparison to Europe anyway, North America is a very large land mass that has only three countries on it. But it is rapidly making up for it’s youth; it’s cities are booming, it’s population growing by leaps and bounds. Subforums: The United States,

Other Though Europe and North America were two of the most likely places that passengers were coming from/going to, your character may come from somewhere else entirely. If that is the case, please post your threads in here and make sure to include where they’re taking place.

Ports The Titanic stopped at only three ports before setting off to cross the Atlantic. Some of them were not big enough to accomodate the Titanic, so the ship could not actually pull up to the dock but instead had to sit further out in the water and passengers were ferried over. First Class The Titanic’s first class went above and beyond all social expectations. It truly was the grandest ship in the world – for the wealthy. White Star Line seemed to spare no expense when it came to taking care of the world’s wealthiest, most influential passengers. Everything was new. Everything was beautiful. It was like a floating palace and few passengers had seen anything nicer in their lives. Subforums: Staterooms,

Second Class While second class could hardly be compared to first in regards to splendour and finery, it was still a beautiful class to travel in. Comfortable, fresh, attentive staff and everything masterfully done, second class passengers experienced something that they never would have on any other ship. Second class accommodations on the Titanic were comparable to first class accommodations on most other ships of the day. Subforums: Staterooms,

Third Class Third class was, by comparison, drab and dull – however, steerage passengers were quite accustomed to having to bring their own food, their own bedding, and being cramped into tiny quarters for an Atlantic crossing. Not on this ship. They were served like the wealthy, they had good, secure rooms, and plenty of places to wander. Their accommodations were comparable to second class accommodations on most other ships. Subforums: Staterooms,

Crew Areas Crew areas varied, depending on what sort of crewmen you were. The Captain and his officers had lodgings much better than a simple steward or a cook. However, even among the crew, the consensus was that of awe and amazement. A note to passengers; don’t get caught wandering around the crewmen’s quarters. You’ll get yourself into a good deal of trouble.
